Academic Search

Simple Search supports keyword search across entities such as papers, scholars, and patents, enabling multi-dimensional combined retrieval to quickly locate target information. It is tailored for quick keyword-based searches and meets the needs of efficient academic retrieval.

  • Advanced search settings: In Advanced Search, you can add combined keywords for topic areas, specify time ranges, and select disciplines to make your search more precise.
  • Three entity categories: Based on the keywords entered, the system automatically identifies the targeted entities (scholars, papers, or patents).
  • Sidebar filters: Each entity category offers multiple filter dimensions in the sidebar, supporting combined multi-select.
  • Search result sorting: By default, results are sorted by overall relevance. You can also customize the sort order by "Newest" or "Citation count".

Smart Search can identify the multiple knowledge entities and their relationships involved in a query, condensing what would normally be a multi-step search into a single conversation.

For example, "Find papers published by Tsinghua University at ACL 2024." Smart Search automatically extracts keywords such as "Tsinghua University," "ACL," and "2024," autonomously plans the retrieval strategy through an agent, calls different APIs to complete the complex search, and then intelligently analyzes and categorizes the results. The reasoning process is visualized to maximize retrieval credibility and dramatically improve search efficiency.

Reference information primarily comes from the AMiner literature database and public web search results. Adopted results prioritize literature with higher citation counts and impact factors. If the search query includes timeliness constraints, results are presented in order from "newest" to "more recent."
